Jim has over 33 years of experience in communications, information technology and security. He was formerly a Senior Associate for Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) where he worked with DISA, USCYBERCOM and USSTRATCOM. Jim provided program management for five contracts and led a team of 52 in support of Information Assurance (IA), Planning, Strategy, and Operations.
Prior to joining BAH, Jim served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army with over 21 years in communications systems management. He served as the Current Operations Officer and Director of Information Assurance, USCENTCOM J6. Following September 11th, he deployed forward to lead the initial standup of USCENTOM’s Theater Command and Control Center in Bahrain for the initial lay down of communications in support of America’s War on Terrorism. He served as Chief of Exercises for Southern European Task Force, Vicenza, Italy, and Liaison to USEUCOM during Operation GUARDIAN ASSISTANCE, and Operation GUARDIAN RETRIEVAL. He also served as Executive Officer and Operations Officer for 16th Signal Battalion, Ft. Hood, Texas.
